The short answer
Choose Murph
Choose Murph if the work starts after class: linking the session to a recovery dip, a private symptom, an eating pattern, or a medical record, then deciding what to revisit.
Choose Peloton App
Peloton App is the better fit if you want live and on-demand classes, instructors you know, programs, challenges, music, and the option to pair with Peloton equipment.
Can Murph and Peloton App work together?
Take and record the class in Peloton. Send Murph a short workout summary when the class leaves a recovery question, a calendar clash, or a pattern worth watching, and note what should change before the next session. Murph is not a Peloton integration.

Material tradeoffs
- App tiers differ in access to equipment-based cardio, so the cheapest membership may not cover the routine you have in mind.
- The standard app personalizes recommendations and plans, but no person reviews your form or rewrites sessions from your feedback.
- Camera-based form, rep, and weight features are tied to selected newer Peloton hardware.
- Murph has no live classes, instructors, leaderboard, or music-led workouts.
Common questions about Murph and Peloton App
Do I need Peloton equipment to use the Peloton App?
No. App-only members can take strength, yoga, Pilates, meditation, outdoor, and other classes without a Peloton Bike, Tread, or Row. Access to equipment-based classes differs by app tier.
Is Peloton App personal coaching?
Not one-to-one. Peloton's instructors teach live and recorded classes, and Peloton IQ can personalize recommendations and plans. The standard app does not assign you a private coach.
What is the main difference between Murph and Peloton App?
Peloton wins on the workout itself: instructors, live classes, music, programs, and community, and Murph replaces none of that. Murph wins after class, when you want the session read against your sleep or symptoms, the plan written down, and a reminder so it actually happens.
