The short answer

Choose Murph

Choose Murph if you want help without joining a CGM program, or if glucose is one clue beside your symptoms, sleep, training, records, and budget. Murph logs meals, reads Dexcom data, and records medications, while clinical decisions stay with your clinicians.

Choose Signos

Pick Signos when continuous glucose data, meal and habit scores, dietitian support, or its clinician-led Signos+ medication program are the goal.

Can Murph and Signos work together?

Keep Signos for the sensor data, its program, and any clinician-led medication care. Bring Murph the findings you want to look at beside your other health data, and use it for the day-to-day work of the plan. No direct integration is implied, and medication or CGM decisions stay with the clinician and the Signos program.

Material tradeoffs

  • CGM feedback makes meal responses visible. It also adds cost and sensor wear, and it can make short-term glucose swings look more important than they are. Murph skips the sensor commitment, but it cannot generate continuous readings, meal scores, or prescriptions.
  • The standard, Essentials, and Signos+ plans differ a lot in hardware, clinical role, commitment, and whether medication is included.
  • Compounded medication calls for clear disclosures about eligibility, safety, quality, and FDA status.

Common questions about Murph and Signos

What is Signos Essentials?

Essentials is for adults already taking a GLP-1 medication. It includes the app and a series of over-the-counter Stelo sensors, but not the medication, and the sensor needs no new prescription. It focuses on food, activity, dose, symptoms, and body changes.

Does Signos prescribe GLP-1 medication?

Signos+ can. It is a separate clinician-guided program that may include compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide after an eligibility review, along with supplies, app access, and CGMs. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved equivalents of the branded products.

Can anyone use the Signos CGM program?

No. The over-the-counter Stelo sensor used in some plans is not meant for people who use insulin, are on dialysis, or have problematic hypoglycemia. A clinician should guide medical decisions and any medication change.
