Quicker pickup for back-to-back texts
When you text Murph while it is still working on your last message, the new one is picked up right away instead of waiting several seconds to be resent.
This applies to private chats. Account and conversation checks still run before a message is accepted.
Improvement
Clearer help when a Fitbit connection doesn't finish
If Google Health stops a Fitbit connection, Murph now explains the setup step that usually fixes it.
Fitbit connects through Google Health, so your Google Account needs a Google Health profile before Murph can link it. Google Fit is no longer offered for new connections because Google is retiring it.
Murph can retry a recent reply when the messaging provider confirms it never sent.
Recovery pauses between attempts and stops after three minutes. Uncertain sends stay closed to avoid duplicate replies, and a later reply does not count as delivery of the original.

Improvements
Improvement
Faster lookups across several wearables
When you connect more than one wearable, Murph combines their readings faster for activity, sleep, recovery and body lookups.
Lookups use the same sources and readings as before, and Murph picks the same source for each day.
Improvement
Assistant models use OpenAI
Murph now uses OpenAI for assistant replies, with model and reasoning choices in Settings.
Venice and custom inference endpoints are no longer available. Saved model and reasoning preferences remain subject to your plan.
Family billing owners now receive the same cancellation follow-up email as individual subscribers.
When your subscription ends, the email goes to your verified, checkout, or Stripe billing email address so you can reply with feedback or ask for help. Other family members do not receive the billing follow-up.

Improvement
Faster replies after a dropped connection
When Murph's connection to its model drops before a reply starts, Murph recovers after 15 seconds instead of 90.
Replies that have already started keep their existing time, so longer reasoning and tool work can still finish.
Improvement
Less waiting on experiment follow-up checks
Murph can check whether an experiment follow-up is due without first refreshing unrelated health summaries.
The check still uses your current experiment status and saved activity to decide whether to follow up.
Improvement
Clearer responses for invalid referral links
Some malformed referral links now show a not-found response instead of a server error.
Valid referral links, including their query parameters, keep working as before.
Improvement
More reliable phone welcomes
Murph can finish setting up your private phone conversation after a welcome message is accepted, including when you add a phone after signing up by email.
The handoff still checks your verified phone and assigned Murph number before linking the conversation.
Improvement
Short waits and clearer wrist buzz results
Ask Murph to wait a few seconds before buzzing your WHOOP or Garmin, and to check whether the band accepted it.
Waits under a minute happen right away; longer delays still use reminders. If the Murph app is not open on your iPhone, Murph now says so instead of reporting a buzz that cannot arrive. Keep the app open with the band connected for delivery.

Improvement
More reliable iMessage typing indicators
Typing indicators recover correctly after a message that does not need a reply.
An earlier silent message no longer leaves later messages without a typing indicator. This applies to private conversations and supported group chats.
Improvement
One Murph badge on iMessage cards
Nutrition, workout, and challenge cards viewed on a Mac or without the Murph app show one Murph badge instead of two overlapping ones.
Card contents and layout are unchanged. Cards that were already sent keep their original image.

Improvement
Faster follow-through on reactions
Question marks and thumbs-down iMessage reactions reach Murph without an extra interpretation step.
Ambiguous laughter and unidentified reactions get another look instead of being dismissed as acknowledgment. Clear appreciation can still stay quiet, and a reaction alone never grants permission to take action.
Improvement
Less extra work for saved health lookups
Murph keeps wearable and blood-test lookups focused on the records they need.
Latest readings, activity, recovery and blood-test lists avoid unrelated search rebuilds. Preparing your Vault also reuses wearable calculations. Saved updates and deletions are still checked before Murph answers.
Improvement
Correct an invalid sign-in number
When SMS sign-in rejects an invalid phone number, Murph asks you to check the number and country code instead of suggesting you retry later.
This fixes an additional provider response format. Service outages keep their retry guidance, and verification protections are unchanged.
Improvement
More reliable background saves
Murph can finish saving recent conversation changes when background updates complete at the same time.
Overlapping saves preserve the latest completed background progress. This improves saving reliability without changing how replies are sent.
Improvement
A clearer view of your usage
Ask Murph what used your allowance, with a breakdown by model and activity and a closer look at expensive turns.
A quiet weekly review can move suitable reminders to Luna while preserving explicit model preferences and more demanding work. Reviews are bounded, and missing usage details are marked as unavailable rather than estimated as zero.

New features
Feature
Wrist reminders through the iPhone app
Connect a compatible band in Settings > Connect device, test a buzz, then ask Murph how wrist reminders could help.
Murph can send an immediate wrist reminder or schedule one for later. Keep the app open with the band connected when it is due. Garmin may also make a sound; device compatibility is still being verified.

Clearer app and wrist connection help
With a compatible Murph iPhone app, Murph can report when the app last checked in and explain why a wrist reminder could not be sent.
For a useful timer or discreet reminder, Murph can offer an optional wrist cue when it already knows you wear WHOOP or Garmin. App contact includes background activity when iOS permits it, but does not prove Health sync or app closure. Groups can see last contact when you share wearable data from an active Apple Health connection.
Improvement
More reliable browser opening
Murph gives a slow-loading page time to finish opening and return its contents.
Opening a page now leaves time to read it after navigation. Websites can still time out or return errors.
Improvement
Less preparation for experiment lists
Murph can list your saved experiments without first preparing unrelated health summaries.
Experiment lists still use your current saved plans and statuses. Other health views are prepared when those views are needed.
Improvement
Less repeated work behind your replies
Murph can handle longer vault tasks with focused context and review morning reminders in batches.
Simple iMessage acknowledgments can stay quiet after a lightweight check. Reactions that answer a question, express confusion, or need follow-through continue to the full assistant. Reminder changes still require a current record check.
Improvement
Clearer phone sign-in errors
When the SMS provider explicitly rejects a phone number as invalid, sign-in asks you to check the number and country code.
Service failures still show the existing retry message. Verification and fraud protections remain in place.
Improvement
Less back-and-forth for food estimates
Murph reuses checked nutrition facts when you correct a meal and keeps routine ingredient research bounded.
Food search better distinguishes complete product names and finds longer names from short misspelled queries. When a routine label lookup is inconclusive, Murph can give a clearly marked estimate; exact allergen and dosing questions still need verified evidence.
Improvement
Reminders by phone call
Ask Murph in a private iMessage or Telegram chat to call you with a reminder at a chosen time.
Murph uses your incoming iMessage phone number when available and asks for a number when it is missing. Each scheduled reminder makes one call attempt; reaching you is not guaranteed.
