Improvements
Clinical imports can preserve a recorded value even when the source leaves its unit unspecified.
Murph keeps it as an observation without guessing a unit or turning it into a standardized measurement.
A device return link that can no longer finish setup now directs you to your current connections without claiming that setup failed.
Connected devices keep their saved status. If a device still needs setup, start from its card on Connect. Reopening a return link never reconnects a device automatically.
Personal chats now start with GPT-6.1 Terra. Every group keeps GPT-6.1 Sol. Terra is available in Settings.
Existing model preferences reset to these defaults. Sol in personal chats requires a paid subscription; Sol in groups is available to everyone. Astra remains available on paid Edge and Max plans. Your reasoning setting stays the same.
If you turn down your partner's game change in chat and then come round to it, Murph now makes the change right away instead of asking them to agree again.
It only counts when you ask for exactly what they asked for and nothing else has changed since. Changes to tasks or stakes still need a fresh yes.
2 updates shipped in this edition.
Improvements
Murph can look up a saved meal more quickly, with the same saved facts.
Reading a larger history can still take time.
Texting Murph before finishing setup no longer repeats the setup-link reminder with every message.
After sending your setup link, Murph sends at most one reminder in response to your messages each UTC day.
3 updates shipped in this edition.
Improvements
Reaching a usage limit no longer prematurely clears completed conversation work that is still waiting to be saved.
New AI work still pauses at the same usage limit. This change preserves completion tracking; it does not add usage or resend messages.
New sleep and workout updates can start syncing while routine daily totals are still being batched.
Repeated updates stay coalesced, and routine daily totals keep their existing batching window.
Murph now says when a new game request replaces your partner's, and asks only about what was just requested.
When Murph can't make a change, it explains the rule and suggests the closest option. A day with no post is still open until 3 AM. You can call off a game in chat before it starts; once it's live, Murph explains what you can still change.
8 updates shipped in this edition.
Improvements
A requested game change stays open when a new day begins.
When your partner agrees, the change applies to days neither player has started. If its start date or shorter length can no longer work, Murph explains why in your existing game chat.
Tell Murph in your game group when you did not finish a day, even after posting.
Your artifact stays visible under the usual unlock rules. You can correct only your own days in a live game, and undo the mark if you actually finished.
Either player can call off an unstarted game invite and start a new one without waiting for it to expire.
Cancelled invites leave both players’ home screens. An existing game chat gets a brief notice; games already underway keep going.
When you send another message while Murph is already active in your conversation, it starts replying sooner.
The first message after a break works the same as before.
An invited player can accept the current game terms after a suggested change is cancelled or declined.
The original invite deadline still applies, and a pending suggestion still needs a response first. Invite links also use clearer artifact and weekday wording.
Cancelled challenge links now explain that the invite was called off.
An invite that reaches its deadline still shows the expiry message.
Opening Settings without a web session now offers sign-in and returns you to your account controls.
Health data consent remains available in Data & privacy, including for accounts without a paid subscription.
Ask Murph for help getting live WHOOP heart rate into the iPhone app.
Murph walks through the next checks based on what you see, knows which bands are supported, and helps you reach support when you are stuck. It cannot inspect your phone's Bluetooth connection.

New features
New challenges let you share a photo, a short line of words, a heart-rate graph, a route map or a pushup tape.
Each day can use a different kind. Your partner sees only a posting time and blurred preview until they post too; the recap reveals the shared entries. Heart-rate and route uploads contain summaries and rendered images, without raw heart-rate samples or route coordinates. Existing photo-only and heart-rate challenges keep their rules.
Players can propose different tasks and stakes, with the other player agreeing before the change takes effect.
Suggesting different rules on an invite leaves the challenge unstarted until both players agree. During play, task changes preserve earlier days. A stake change replaces the whole game's prize or dare, including earlier misses, with both players' agreement.
Ask Murph who has checked in or how your last challenge finished.
In iMessage, you can also ask Murph to save your photo as today's check-in. Saving always needs your agreement, and replacing an existing check-in uses the usual retake.
Improvements
New challenges have one prize for the winner or one dare for the loser, with a duration from 3 to 365 days.
Tasks and stakes lock when both players agree. Accept before 8pm in your game time zone to start that day, unless a later start was chosen. Invite links show the stake and duration, and what the loser owes stays a prize or a dare. Ties and perfect games owe nothing.
Cancel a change you proposed in the app and Murph lets both players know that request is off.
Applies once the request is queued or sent to your shared chat, including while you are still agreeing on the challenge. Cancelling the request leaves the agreed challenge unchanged.
Murph introduces accepted two-player challenges in your shared chat and keeps proposed changes conversational.
Murph reuses a matching group or creates one, then offers optional reminders. You can discuss the same challenge in another chat with the same two players. Proposals made in chat receive one conversational reply, without a separate announcement.
Profile pictures and challenge photos load in smaller sizes suited to the app.
Photo access still follows the challenge’s visibility rules. This update starts a new private image store; photos uploaded before the update need to be replaced.
Challenge proposals are shorter and only mention a start date when you change it.
When choosing between shared chats with the same two players, Murph now prefers the most recently active conversation, then a named group, then the newest chat. Games already linked to a chat stay there.
Murph spends less processing time preparing still photos for a reply.
Photos keep the same resolution, and Murph spends less time processing them before replying.

Improvements
Get an iPhone notification when another player posts, limited to one notification per game each day.
Available with the updated Murph app and notification permission. If you've posted, the alert invites you to look; otherwise it prompts you to share yours. Tap to open that game; photos and post text stay behind the usual post-to-unlock rule. The limit resets at your game's 3 a.m. day boundary. Retakes and excuses stay quiet, and delivery depends on Apple notification availability.
Propose a new challenge schedule, duration or start date, and agree to it together in your chat with Murph.
Murph reuses your shared chat or starts one with both players. The current schedule stays in place until the other player agrees. Changes affect future days, keeping the check-ins and missed days already recorded. Available for supported two-player challenges with verified phone numbers.
Weekly challenge invites now show the required daily check-in before you accept.
Photo challenges ask for a photo. Heart-rate challenges ask for a workout graph and require a compatible wearable and an updated Murph app. Both players follow the same requirement.
Murph skips a redundant setup check when reconnecting to a warm runtime, reducing the work before it can process a new message.
Murph can send common image, audio, and video files alongside documents and ZIPs through secure file approval.
Approve the exact file and conversation before delivery. This works for saved files and newly created attachments in iMessage and private Telegram chats. Telegram delivers them as file attachments. If a public image preview fails, Murph gets guidance to retry the original image or prepare a file for approval. Existing size limits still apply.

Improvements
Murph keeps most replies straightforward and saves jokes for moments that invite one.
If you tell Murph its jokes aren't landing, it drops the humor and answers plainly. Rooms and members who turned Humor up still get more playful replies.
Private recovery messages for group setup can proceed during simultaneous messaging activity.
A concurrency fix prevents one cause of interrupted recovery while preserving eligibility checks and duplicate-message protection.
Murph does less repeated processing when preparing a long Apple Health sleep history.
An incomplete sleep record no longer makes Murph recheck unrelated nights for the same repair. Your sleep records and summaries stay the same.
Murph reuses connections between messages and does less startup work before responding.
This targets the pause before typing appears. Replies keep the same delivery and recovery checks.
Weekly digests and other scheduled updates can recover sooner when background processing is busy.
Retries use an alternative processing tier while keeping the original delivery window, saved preferences and duplicate-message protections.
Open Devices and Settings directly from the sidebar without opening the account menu.
The current page is highlighted, and Sign out remains in the account menu.
Murph compresses repeated workspace data more efficiently, reducing what needs to load after an inactive conversation wakes up.
Your saved context stays intact. The improvement depends on the workspace; photos and other already-compressed files may not become smaller.
